Blasting Off: Amplify’s Astronauts Reach New Heights! 🚀
From 1st September right through to 21st December, we’ve laced up our space boots and have been taking more steps than ever before!
Alongside 130 customer teams taking part in the SpaceWalk, we’ve joined forces with YuLife on a mission where every step lights the way to new worlds by “visiting” planets and raising funds for incredible causes along the way. 🌍✨
We’re thrilled to share that we’ve now reached our second distance milestone, collectively walking enough steps to travel from Jupiter’s surface all the way to its moon, Ganymede!
So, what’s next for our crew of cosmic explorers?
Our next mission milestone: Walk as far as the Voyager 2 spacecraft travels in a single day!
💫 Fun fact: Voyager 2 captured stunning images of Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune before being flung out of the solar system. It used the planets’ gravitational pull to ‘slingshot’ its way into the depths of space.

Each stage of our journey brings us closer together as a team, and closer to making a difference on Earth.
Here’s what our interstellar adventure looks like:
From Earth to the Moon – 405,500 km // 0.6 billion steps - £500 donation to Earthly
From Jupiter’s surface to its moon, Ganymede – 963,000 km // 1.3 billion steps.
As far as Voyager 2 travels in a day – 1,328,328 km // 1.9 billion steps - £500 donation to Big Blue Ocean Cleanup.
From the moon Titan to Saturn’s surface – 1,221,870 km // 1.7 billion steps - £500 donation to charity: Water.
To the centre of the Sun and back out again – 1,392,700 km // 2 billion steps.
Walk the combined distance of all the solar systems' planets - 1,233,855km // 1.8 billion steps.

Earthly is a company helping businesses invest in nature-based projects that offset carbon emissions, restore biodiversity, and support local communities.
Big Blue Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organisation supporting ocean protection through grassroots action, providing equipment, education, and guidance to those helping to protect marine life.
Water – An international non-profit funding and implementing clean, safe drinking water projects in developing countries.
ShareTheMeal - A charity crowdfunding app from the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) that allows users to donate to fight global hunger. Donations are used to support various WFP projects, such as providing emergency food assistance, supporting school feeding programs, and helping with community resilience projects.
